Lachine to Clayton, N.Y.

Coast Guard ship at Clayton and Simplicity docked at Pier 225
Linda and Mike (owner of Pier225)  and the marina(What a gem of a place!)

Today was a LONG day. We did get to meet up with Elliott and Sheryl last night We had a fun evening with them, their daughter Jennifer and their friends(who I am sorry I do not remember the names), but they were fun to be with also. Maybe Elliott will refresh my memory if he reads this.
Because it was such a beautiful day today we took advantage of it and cruised 190 miles today to Clayton, New York. We had stayed here last year and really liked the place. We can get cellphone service here, so I made my calls to mom, Connie and the kids. Mom is groggy and doped up on pain killers, but she came through the surgery well. Connie said that she will need some rehab and there is a rehab place in Chipley. She had to have surgery on her leg, but the shoulder was just set and in a sling. THe leg had pins and ect in it. She broke the bone in two on her upper rt leg. For those who do not know she is at Southeast Medical in Dothan, Al  Rm 273.

We are going to stay in Clayton for 2 days and regroup.

We ate with Marlowe and Sarita on my boat.
This is the 2nd message to you, as the system froze a moment ago. I cannot believe the speed or the distance that you covered in one day to get all the way to Clayton NY. You certainly flew by some of the nicest areas. But (you saw them last year)
Also, your timing through the Locks must have been dead on, as well as going under the iroquois dam.
Please be on the lookout for a white 34 Searay named Sooper Pooper. Very good friends of ours from Kingston Ontario, Arnie and Elaine, who may be just ahead of you
Thank you for stopping by again.
Elliott
