Beaufort, S.C.

We left Thunderbolt about 6:45am and had really pleasant weather for cruising. We arrived in Beaufort(pronounced bewfort) South Carolina this morning around 9am. The city marina let us tie up in our dock space upon our arrival. As we were docking we ran into Henry and Nancy who were about to leave and head for Charleston. They are always a step ahead us.
After docking we cleaned out the boat, set up the grill and bimini top. Knowing that we are here for several days this will be our shipshape port.  We walked around alittle and went to the ice cream place. They had my favorite Breyers PEACH.  Now we are waiting for the bad weather and tomorrow will be groceries.  HAPPY MOTHERS'S DAY MOM!!    Yes I know it is tomorrow, but she reads this everyday in the mornings.
We love you and thanks for all you do for us and the kids.
