Beaufort, S.C. Waiting out storm

Beaufort is a beautiful place to have to weather out a storm. THere is a lot of history here and the live oaks are magnificent. We went for a walk after the storm passed. The waterfront park is relaxing and the landscape beautiful. It was Mother's day and there was a live band in one of the restaurants playing that could be heard through out the park. Good music too!  The swings seem to be the most popular  spot and you quickly grabbed one when vacant. They are lined up all the way down the waterfront. This is truly one of my picks to those who like history and small town waterfronts.

It sounds like you have been beset by a lot of rough weather so far. Is this the typical spring? We had a nor'easter yesterday in New Jeresey that blew our furniture around the deck. I'm glad you are staying on shore when apropriate!

Speak to you soon.
