We arrived in Longboat Key and decided to drop the hook for the night among all the BIG yachts. It was real rocky for awhile from the passing boats, but calmed down after dark. This is really a pretty anchorage, but my advice do it during the weekdays. Can dinghy to stone crab restaurant for dinner. We chose to stay onboard and enjoy red beans and rice. Alan went kayaking and fishing. I caught up on my emails. Next stop is Venice, Fl and hopefully the free town dock.
