Carrabelle

Well, this has not been what I expected. After Port St. Joe marina's hospitality we expected the same everywhere. We pulled into Mooring's marina to fuel up and dock for a couple of hours to eat and see the town. No other boats there, the dock-master couldn't tie up his fuel dock for an hour or two.I could understand that, but there was plenty of room to the side that would accommodate us for a very short time. Guess we weren't big enough(not drinking up the gas) that it wasn't worth it to him. He offered one of the slips, but you have to understand how hard it is to maneuver this boat in the winds(15-20 knots) when he could have let us walk around a few feet. Anyway, we are anchored in the harbor and will leave here in the morning if the winds permit. There looks like there is a really nice marina across from our anchorage. Will check it out in the morning.
